Trafford Oral Health Improvement Team

The Oral Health Improvement Team works to improve oral health and reduce inequalities across Trafford through a range of evidence‑based programmes and activities.

We’re here to support your work. Please get in touch if we can help. Our programmes include:

• oral health sessions for children in nurseries, schools and children’s centre hubs
• supervised toothbrushing programmes to encourage daily brushing in early years settings
• training for children’s professionals, including nurseries, childminders and school nurses
• training for adult care professionals, including care homes and domiciliary care teams
• free resource packs to support early years settings
• support for national campaigns such as Smile Month and Mouth Cancer Action Month
